How to Refer

Making a referral to Bridgeway

01

Contact us to establish a partnership

Reach out via our contact form or by phone. We'll schedule a brief call to learn about your program, your population, and your referral needs. Most partnerships are established within one to two weeks.

02

Identify the right modules for your clients

We'll work with you to select the curriculum modules that best match your referral population — whether that's a full nine-module program or targeted instruction in specific areas.

03

Send us the referral

Once a partnership is in place, referrals can be made by phone, email, or through your existing case management system. We'll confirm receipt and schedule the participant's first session.

04

Receive documentation

We provide completion certificates, attendance records, and progress reports on a schedule that works for your program — weekly, monthly, or at program completion.

Common Questions

Frequently asked by referral partners

Is Bridgeway's curriculum court-approved?

Our curriculum is structured and documented to meet court-mandated life skills program requirements. We provide written completion certificates and progress reports suitable for court files and probation records. We recommend confirming specific requirements with the presiding judge or probation officer, as requirements vary by jurisdiction.

Can Bridgeway deliver programs inside our facility?

Yes. We deliver programs inside jails, detention facilities, detox centers, residential treatment programs, shelters, and transitional housing. We handle all facility clearance requirements and adapt our curriculum for in-custody and residential settings.

Does Bridgeway work with Medi-Cal?

We work with Medi-Cal case managers to align our services with covered programs and help identify funding pathways for eligible participants. Contact us to discuss your specific Medi-Cal population and we'll explain the options available.

What documentation does Bridgeway provide?

We provide written completion certificates, attendance and participation records, module-by-module progress reports, and competency tracking documentation. Reports can be delivered on a schedule that meets your program's requirements.

How quickly can a referral be placed?

Once a partnership agreement is in place, referrals can typically be scheduled within 3–5 business days. For urgent court-ordered referrals, contact us directly and we will do our best to accommodate expedited placement.

What populations does Bridgeway specialize in?

We specialize in individuals coming out of incarceration, people in early recovery from addiction, individuals transitioning out of long-term homelessness, survivors of domestic violence, parents working toward family reunification, and court-diverted individuals. We are experienced working with complex, multi-barrier populations.
