Bridgeway Life Skills & Recovery Coaching
Structured life skills programs for the people your system serves.
Bridgeway Life Skills provides court-approved, evidence-informed curriculum for individuals coming out of incarceration, addiction, homelessness, and crisis — delivered one-on-one, in groups, and inside facilities.
Who We Work With
Our Mission
Giving people the practical tools to rebuild — for real this time.
Many of the individuals your department serves have never been taught the fundamentals of independent living. They've spent years — sometimes decades — surviving without the skills most people take for granted: how to budget, how to find housing, how to show up to a job, how to navigate a benefits system, how to communicate without conflict.
Bridgeway Life Skills fills that gap. We deliver structured, practical, and compassionate life skills education to people who are ready to change — and we do it in the settings where they already are: courtrooms, treatment facilities, shelters, and community programs.
"Accountability without skills is just punishment. We provide both."
Core Curriculum
Nine foundational life skills modules
Each module is structured, repeatable, and designed for adults who are starting over. Programs can be delivered as a full curriculum or as targeted modules based on referral need.
01
Basic Daily Living
Hygiene, household routines, cooking, cleaning, and the habits of stable independent life.
02
Financial Literacy
Budgeting, banking, managing debt, understanding credit, and avoiding predatory financial traps.
03
Employment Readiness
Job applications, resume basics, interview skills, workplace conduct, and keeping a job.
04
Housing Navigation
Finding housing with a record, understanding tenant rights, completing applications, and maintaining tenancy.
05
Communication & Conflict Resolution
Healthy communication, de-escalation, setting boundaries, and navigating relationships without violence or manipulation.
06
Parenting & Family Reunification
Rebuilding family relationships, co-parenting, understanding child welfare systems, and responsible parenting skills.
07
Navigating Systems
Benefits enrollment, healthcare access, government services, and understanding how to work within — not against — the system.
08
Sobriety Support & Relapse Prevention
Understanding triggers, building a recovery support network, relapse prevention planning, and accountability structures.
09
Goal Setting & Accountability
Setting realistic goals, building self-discipline, tracking progress, and developing the mindset for long-term success.
How We Deliver
We come to where your clients are
One-on-One Sessions
Individualized instruction tailored to the specific needs and circumstances of each participant. Ideal for court-mandated or high-needs referrals.
Group Workshops
Structured group curriculum for shelters, transitional housing programs, treatment centers, and community organizations.
Court-Mandated Programs
Documented, trackable curriculum designed to satisfy court requirements. We provide completion certificates and progress reports for the record.
In-Facility Delivery
We bring our programs inside jails, detox centers, shelters, and residential facilities — meeting participants where they are before they transition out.
